Key Focus
To build a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and skills for our students that supports their continuous learning of Mathematics and the learning of other subjects. This includes teaching towards big ideas to highlight the connectedness of mathematical ideas for the students and deepen their understanding of concepts.
To enable all students to develop thinking, reasoning, communication, application and metacognitive skills through a mathematical approach to problem solving.
To develop confident problem solvers who are able to appreciate the relevance of Mathematics in daily life and its application in solving real world problems.
To build confidence and foster interest in Mathematics.
